Inspired by the Lamassu, the legendary winged bull that guarded the gates of Assyrian cities and palaces, this design represents strength, protection, and divine authority. Dating back to the Neo-Assyrian Empire (circa 900–600 BC), these monumental figures were placed at entrances to ward off evil and protect what lay within, combining the body of a bull, the wings of an eagle, and the head of a human.
